Architecture is the careful, thoughtful and creative combination of function, structure and beauty. The talented, international architectural team at Berenyi Incorporated has designed projects for a wide array of commercial, industrial, and residential clients. This variety keeps the team flexible. The open studio atmosphere encourages sharing of ideas with the engineers and landscape architects to produce the best possible results.
At Berenyi Incorporated, structural engineering is more than just a series of mathematical calculations. It is a feel for how loads are transferred from beams to joints through the foundation. It is an understanding and innovative perspective of steel fabrication and construction. It is having control over all facets of design, all the way to the detailing of special connections - all to ensure absolute success of the project. By factoring live loads, dead loads, collateral loads, wind, seismic and thermal requirements, we can accurately predict the stresses your building must handle and then design the most practical building plan to suit your business needs now - and for future growth.
As with all Berenyi Incorporated's services, your challenges, your budget constraints and your schedule are ours. Our industrial engineers go the extra mile to ensure code compliance, ease of traffic flows, manufacturing process efficiency, as well as other issues requiring a detailed, experienced, yet innovative approach to planning and design. In addition to new plant and plant addition designs, our industrial project engineers design crane and railcar systems.
Berenyi Incorporated built relationships with our clients for years through our attention to detail and unique outlook on design, customer service, and honesty. Our customers soon asked us to follow their projects past design and into the construction phase. In response to those questions we started our construction division to service our client’s needs. Using our position in the industry we have attracted top rate team members that serve as our backbone in the field. Typical construction services include:
Turn Key Installations
Material Handling Systems
Heavy Structural Steel
For us, it’s all about commitment to our clients. Our conviction that we are working with the client, not for the client that reinforces our common bond and creates immeasurable value for our clients.

Berenyi Railway Success Stories
NUCOR STEEL, a world leader in steel making, contracted Berenyi Railway group to facilitate the design and construction of their yard rail system during their new plant facility in Huger, South Carolina. NUCOR’s facility spawned many new companies associated with the steel industry to build facilities near the NUCOR plant. As the “NUCOR Campus” grew other rail work was performed by Berenyi to develop new rail spurs to many new facilities. These include: Ryerson, Feralloy, JM Steel, and others.
South Carolina Public Rail has selected Berenyi Railway group as their contractor of choice to rehabilitate miles of railroad at the Charleston Navy Yard. This rehabilitation will allow larger and heavier loads to pass into the Port of Charleston. Berenyi Railway is also working with SCPR to inspect all of the railroads bridges. This inspection is in response to a new Federal Railway Administration mandate that all such structures are to be inspected and rated for railroad use.
CMMC, owns and operates a large portion of what used to be the Charleston Naval Shipyard. This area is one of the few locations in the Low Country that can berth large ships, making the piers at the shipyard useful in delivery of large, heavy cargo. One of the main piers, Pier J, has railway service to the end of the pier. Per new Federal Railway Administration mandates this elevated track and its support structure must be load rated by summer of 2012. CMMC choose Berenyi Railway to perform this review and certification.
