S-Curve Realignment

As part of South Carolina Public Rails involvement in the revitalization of the Naval Shipyard, a existing curve required realignment to allow larger/heavier loads to pass over the rail. Berenyi has completely survey, designed, and permitted the new rail alignment to a 12 degree curve. The curve alignment, and degree of curvature, found a balance between effective rail use and displacement of residences and existing large trees.
